KEITH
R. YOUNG was principal saxophonist with the U.S. Air
Force Band in Washington, D.C. for 20 years until 1998. Since then he has been
an international soloist and Professor of Music at Indiana University of
Pennsylvania, where he teaches saxophone performance and directs the IUP Jazz
Band. As a saxophone soloist,
Young has performed on international tours with the U.S. Air Force Band and as
guest soloist with college and high school bands, as well as at the
International Bandmasters and Orchestra Directors Conference, World Saxophone
Congress in the U.S., Japan, Italy, and Canada, and several MENC Conferences.
